Mark is a senior Business-to-Business executive providing a fast track 14-year career in the financial services industry.  Having achieved impressive sales results in the Correspondent Clearing and Custody industries Mark started MJS Consulting Services- a Sales, Marketing, and Business Development Consulting practice - and www.NoMoreBD.com in early 2009.

Mark spent 5 years at TD Ameritrade Institutional, selling custodial services to Registered Investment Advisory firms throughout the West Coast.  In addition to working with established RIA's, he assisted several Brokers in the decision and process of leaving their Broker-Dealer to start their own Independent Practices.

Prior to joining TDA Mark spent 3 years at Merrill Lynch helping the company's Broadcort Division develop a Retail Correspondent Clearing offering tailored toward 3rd party Broker-Dealers.  In addition to his stints at TDA and Merrill, his 5 years at Pershing Securities - a leader in the Correspondent Clearing industry - was also instrumental in getting MJS Consulting Services off the ground.

Mark possesses a vast knowledge of the Broker/Dealer and RIA industries with an ever expanding network of RIA firms and Brokers centered in Northern California as well as throughout the entire West Coast.  He brings a consultative approach to his relationship style recruiting, offering many options available to Brokers who are looking to leave their current BD.  Each deal is unique and Mark has the experience and industry contacts available to guide a Broker looking to start his or her own independent RIA firm or join an existing practice ; all the while remaining completely autonomous with his or her current book of business.

Mark is FINRA Series 7 and 63 licensed and earned his Economics/Business degree from Lafayette College. He currently resides in Newport Beach, CA.
